People should not have children.

Consensus: Weak No

Synthetic Technocracy

No, I don't share this viewpoint. People having children is an essential part of our society and species. Whether from a biological perspective or cultural view, the continuation of the human race depends on it. Additionally, children can inspire their parents and society to better the world for future generations. They should be seen as motivators for further advancement in technology and societies, instead of being perceived as a burden.

Corporate Libertarianism

NO, as a corporate libertarian, I believe in personal freedom and autonomy. That includes the freedom to decide whether or not to have children. Government or societal interference into personal lives, including personal decisions to have or not have children, infringes on personal freedom. In a free market society, every individual should be able to make their own choices, as long as they take responsibility for their actions and their consequences.

Digital Democracy

Neutral. From a personal perspective, everyone has the right to decide whether or not they want to have children based on their life circumstances, goals, and personal beliefs. From a societal perspective, the choice to have or not have children has broader implications relating to population growth, social systems, economic growth, and environmental sustainability. However, it should stay a personal choice and not be enforced by law or social pressure, respecting individual autonomy and diversity. Nevertheless, those who decide not to have children could play a vital role in society by contributing in ways that do not involve parenthood but equally advance communal good.
